Fieldbus and connectivity
The TM172PDG42RI: On the connectivity side: one CAN port, two RS485 serial links (Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP), one Ethernet port (Modbus TCP and BACnet IP with web server), and USB for programming. That covers both legacy and modern fieldbuses for most HVAC networks.
Panel mount with accessory DIN rail bracket. IP20, pollution degree 2. Dimensions 5.7 in wide x 4.3 in high x 2.4 in deep — fits standard enclosure cutouts. Ambient operating temperature -4 to 149 °F (-20 to 65 °C), storage down to -22 °F.
Analog input accuracy and sensor support
Analog inputs accept NTC 103AT-2 or NK103, PTC, Pt1000, plus 0–10 V, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, and resistance modes. Accuracy on the 4–20 mA loop is ±1% of full scale ±1 digit — tight enough for chiller or VAV box control. Pt1000 gets ±1.5 °C from -50 to 100 °C, widening outside that band.
Power and sensor supply
Powered by 24 V AC/DC ±10%, draws 14 W. Sensor supplies: 5 V DC at 50 mA and 24 V DC at 150 mA from the controller.
