Controller for HVAC and Pumping Applications
The Schneider TM173OBM22RH is a current-production Modicon M173 programmable controller built for HVAC and pumping solutions. It provides 22 I/O points: 6 digital inputs, 5 digital outputs, 7 analog inputs, and 4 analog outputs. Analog inputs handle NTC and Pt1000 temperature probes, 0–10 V, 0–5 V, and 4–20 mA signals, with measurement accuracy within 1% of full scale for most ranges. A built-in real-time clock drifts under 30 s/month at -20 to 65 °C. Two RS485 ports support Modbus serial links, plus a CAN port and USB-C for programming. The compact 72 mm wide by 110 mm tall by 60 mm deep housing mounts on a panel with DIN-rail accessories.

Operates from -20 to 65 °C, 5–95% non-condensing humidity, and altitudes up to 2000 m. Pollution degree 2 and IP20 enclosure per IEC 60730. Certified to UL 60730-1 and EN 60730-1, plus EMC directives 2014/30/EU and 2014/35/EU. The wide temperature tolerance and robust construction suit cold storage, pump houses, and HVAC plant rooms where temperature swings and moderate humidity occur. For wet environments, install inside a suitable enclosure.
