What the transistor outputs mean for signal integrity
The TM238LDD24DT: Transistor outputs switch faster than relay and work with high-speed sensors or small inductive loads. In a noisy panel—say, alongside VFDs or contactors—keep the output wiring away from AC power lines and fit a flyback diode on any solenoid or relay coil the output drives. The 24 VDC rail should be filtered if it also feeds the PLC power supply; a grounded shield on sensor cables helps keep the input side clean.
