Product details

Overview

The TM241C24U is a Schneider Modicon M241 compact PLC with 14 digital inputs, 8 of which are fast inputs conforming to IEC 61131-2 Type 1, and 10 solid-state transistor outputs rated 0.5 A each. The unit is sealed to IP20, measures 149.86 mm wide by 93.98 mm deep by 88.9 mm high, and mounts on a standard DIN rail. It includes a real-time clock backed by a BR2032 lithium cell and 128 MB of flash memory for program storage.

Compared to the TM241C40U, the TM241C24U carries 24 discrete I/O versus 40, with 14 digital inputs (8 fast) versus 24 digital inputs (8 fast). The 16-input gap means the TM241C24U fits smaller machine sections or distributed I/O islands where the TM241C40U would be oversized.
