Product details

TM241CE40T, a 40-point transistor-output PLC from Modicon M241, mounts on a top hat rail (IEC 60715) with 190 mm width. RTC retains time for two years at 25 °C via BR2032 lithium cell. On the Ethernet side, there's a single 10/100 port handling EtherNet/IP originator and target, Modbus TCP client and server, OPC UA server, and web server (WebVisu). Cycle time runs 10 ms per 16 EtherNet/IP nodes; for Modbus TCP it stretches to 64 ms for 64 connections. The fast inputs accept single-phase or pulse/direction up to 200 kHz, plus A/B quadrature at 100 kHz. Turn-on and turn-off settle in 50 µs on the first 16 inputs. Transistor outputs switch in under 250 µs off-time. Power draw: the serial link supplies 5 V at under 200 mA. Inrush hits 50 A. Insulation between supply and logic at 500 V AC.
