Product details

The TM241CEC24U is a Modicon M241 compact PLC with 24 discrete I/O points—14 sink/source inputs and 10 transistor sourcing outputs. That puts it in the sweet spot for a standalone machine or a sub-cell within a multi-controller line. The Ethernet port handles Modbus TCP, OPC UA server, and Ethernet/IP adapter right out of the box, so you can talk to a modern SCADA or a legacy remote rack without a protocol gateway. For motion-ish applications, the fast inputs accept single-phase HSC at 200 kHz or A/B quadrature at 100 kHz, and the four fast transistor outputs switch off in under 2 µs. That covers basic encoder counting and high-speed positioning without an add-on module.

This controller snaps onto a 35 mm DIN rail (TH35-15 or TH35-7.5 per IEC 60715) or screws to a plate with the fixing kit. Its footprint is 150 × 95 × 90 mm (width × depth × height).

CE marked, UL 508 listed, CSA C22.2 No 142 and No 213, and meets IEC 61131-2:2007. Also carries marine type approvals (LR, ABS, DNV, GL), so it qualifies for shipboard panels without additional qualification testing. Pollution degree 2 and Category US10MSX22533 (hazardous locations per ANSI/ISA 12-12-01).
