Overview

The TM258LF42DT is a Modicon M258 PLC expansion module from Schneider, packing 42 discrete I/O channels on a single DIN-rail unit. Communication is handled via Modbus TCP, CANopen master, RS232/485, and USB — all on board. The module carries 128 MB flash and 64 MB RAM, with retain variables backed up for 1.5 years by a CR2477M battery. Rated for 15 gn 11 ms shock and IP20, it is built for cabinet mounting on symmetrical DIN rail. It carries CE, UL 508, CSA C22.2 No 142, and IEC 61131-2 marks.
