The TM258LF42DT4L is a 24 V DC Modicon M258 controller with 42 discrete I/O. Sink logic on the fast/regular inputs, source on all outputs. Four analog inputs handle 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, or ±10 V, so you can wire in pressure transmitters or analog position feedback directly. Eight of the inputs are counting-capable at 200 kHz – enough for incremental encoders on a packaging line or spindle speed feedback. CANopen at selectable bit rates from 10 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s ties the controller into I/O blocks, drives, and remote racks. The 128 MB flash / 64 MB RAM memory leaves headroom for moderate programs and data logging.
