The TM2AMI2LT is a two-channel analog input module for the Modicon M238 logic controller. It accepts differential thermocouple types J (-200 to 760 °C), K (-270 to 1370 °C), and T (-270 to 400 °C). Each channel scans at 200 ms per channel plus one controller cycle time. The module draws 30 mA from the external 24 V DC supply and 60 mA from the 5 V internal backplane. Accuracy specs sit at ±1 %FS total error, ±0.2 %FS non-linearity, and ±0.5 %FS repeatability. Temperature coefficient holds to ±0.006 %FS/°C. The input circuit is photocoupler-isolated from the internal logic, with dielectric strength rated 500 V between I/O and external supply circuit, and 2500 V between I/O and logic.
Dimensions are 23.5 mm wide, 70 mm deep, and 90 mm tall. The narrow width leaves room for additional I/O in a crowded panel. Connection uses a single removable screw terminal block. Shielded cable is specified for the thermocouple wiring to maintain signal integrity. Supply voltage range is 20.4 to 28.8 V DC (24 V nominal). External supply powers the module; the internal 5 V rail comes from the controller backplane. Ensure the controller's backplane current budget covers the 60 mA draw.
