Product details

The TM2AMI4LT: I/O expansion module for Modicon M238 logic controllers, providing four analog input channels configurable for voltage (0-10 V), current (0-20 mA), or temperature probes (Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni1000). Sampling runs at 160 ms per channel for voltage/current; temperature channels require 320 ms per channel plus one controller cycle. Rated supply voltage is 24 V DC (20.4...28.8 V), consuming 60 mA from the external 24 V supply and 50 mA from the 5 V backplane. Dimensions are 23.5 x 70 x 90 mm (W x D x H), fitting a single-width Modicon M238 slot.

Connection is via one removable screw terminal block. The analog inputs are non-differential; shielded cable is required to maintain specified accuracy (total error +/-0.5% FS, non-linearity +/-0.02% FS, repeatability +/-0.1% FS). Insulation between I/O and logic uses a photocoupler rated at 2500 V dielectric strength. Cross-talk values on the temperature input are 10 kOhm; current input 470 Ohm; voltage input 10 kOhm.
