Overview
The TM2AMO1HT is a Schneider Modicon M238 analog output module, order code TM2AMO1HT, providing one channel configurable for 0-10 V or 4-20 mA output with 12-bit resolution.
This module converts digital values from the M238 controller into a single analog output signal. The output type is jumper-selectable between 0-10 V (minimum load impedance 2000 Ω) and 4-20 mA (maximum load impedance 300 Ω). Resolution is 12 bits, giving an LSB value of 2.5 mV on the voltage range and 4.8 µA on the current range. Total error is ±1% FS, with non-linearity of ±0.2% FS and a temperature coefficient of ±0.015% FS/°C. Measurement error at 25 °C is ±0.2% of full scale. Conversion time is 10 ms, and output ripple is held to ≤1 LSB. The module is powered from an external 24 V supply, not the backplane bus.
Applications
As a Modicon M238 expansion module, the TM2AMO1HT is used in compact machine control applications — packaging lines, material handling stations, pump skids, and small process skids — where a single analog output is needed to drive a proportional valve, a VFD speed reference, or a panel meter. It fits into the M238 I/O backplane alongside digital and other analog modules.
