Panel fit and wiring realities
The TM310MM35ECT16T: Mounts on a standard TH35-15 rail per IEC 60715. Depth is 85 mm, width 60 mm – it won't crowd the gland plate in a shallow enclosure. The power supply connects through a 3-pin removable screw terminal; serial link uses a 4-pin spring-cage block. Both come off without tools, which matters when you're swapping in the field with a headlamp. Pull 26 W at full load (25 °C ambient). Standby draw is 2.99 W – negligible on the backplane budget. Watch the inrush: 50 A peak on power-up, so keep the 24 VDC supply sized to handle that without droop.
High-speed and motion – what the fast I/O actually does
The fast outputs (Q0–Q7) turn off in ≤ 1 µs – useful for PWM or fast solenoid dump. They're source-only, so verify your load common before landing wires. Maximum voltage drop under 1 V when sourcing 24 VDC rails.
Compliance paperwork that keeps the inspector happy
The module carries IEC 61131-2 and IEC/EN 61010-2-201 marks, plus RoHS and REACH declarations. No UL listing in the evidence – if your spec requires UL, verify with a compliance statement before the BOM freeze. Pollution degree 2, altitude 2000 m max, vibration to 3.5 mm at 5–8.4 Hz on DIN rail.
