The TM3AQ2 is a 2-channel analog output module for the Modicon TM3 family—your go-to if you need to send a 4–20 mA loop or a 0–10 V signal out to a VFD, valve positioner, or chart recorder. Resolution is 12 bits (11 bits + sign for bipolar ranges), and the conversion time runs 1 ms plus 1 ms per channel plus one PLC scan, so it keeps up with most process loops without lagging. Non-linearity is ±0.01 %FS and repeat accuracy ±0.4 %FS—tight enough for the control loops I see out here in the grease. Output ripple holds to 20 mV, and absolute accuracy error is ±0.1 %FS at 25 °C, ±1 %FS across the full temperature range. Temperature drift is ±0.006 %FS/°C, so you won't lose the setpoint when the panel warms up on a summer afternoon.

Mounting and wiring—what the panel guys need

Slides onto a standard DIN rail (top hat, 15 mm or 7.5 mm) or plate-mounted with a fixing kit. Width 0.9 in (23.6 mm), depth 2.8 in (70 mm), height 3.5 in (90 mm).
