The TM3BCECT is a distributed I/O bus coupler for Modicon TM3 expansion racks, connecting up to 7 modules to an EtherCAT network. Speaks EtherCAT slave device profile over a 10/100BASE-T port at 100 Mbps full duplex, and supports ring line topology for cable redundancy. Holds at 0.6 A drawn from the 24 VDC internal supply when fully loaded with expansion modules.
Panel footprint is narrow: 26.8 mm wide, 73.3 mm deep, 93 mm tall. Clips onto 35 mm DIN rail or screws to a mounting plate. Ambient operating range -10 to 60 °C, storage -40 to 70 °C. Pollution degree 2, IP20 enclosure for cabinet-only installation. Status LEDs for power, run, error, and I/O sit on the front face.
