Overview
The TM3RDM32R is a Modicon TM3 discrete I/O module packing 16 digital inputs and 16 relay outputs in a single 51 mm wide housing, wired via removable screw terminals. Inputs accept 24 V DC sink or source, compliant with IEC 61131-2 Type 1; relay outputs switch up to 2 A at 24 V DC or 240 V AC. The module is CE marked and rated for 15 gn shock for 11 ms.
Compared to the TM3RDM16R, the TM3RDM32R doubles the I/O count: 16 inputs and 16 outputs versus 8 each. Both use the same 24 V DC input logic and relay output type, so a panel wired for the TM3RDM16R can be upgraded to the TM3RDM32R without rewiring the field connections, provided the DIN-rail space and terminal pitch match.
