Product details

The TM3TM3G: Modicon TM3 analog expansion module with two universal inputs and one analog output. Accepts voltage (0-10 V, ±10 V), current (0-20 mA, 4-20 mA), thermocouple types J, K, R, S, B, T, N, E, C, and RTD probes Ni100, Ni1000, Pt100, Pt1000 — covering most process signals in a single slot. Resolution is 16 bits (15 bits + sign on voltage ranges), with non-linearity ±0.01 %FS on the output and ±0.1 %FS on the input. Absolute accuracy on voltage/current inputs is ±0.1 %FS at 25 °C, while thermocouple accuracy varies by type and range — for example, ±6 °C on R/S below 200 °C, tightening to ±0.1 %FS above 200 °C. Communication is via the TM3 backplane bus; no fieldbus interface inside — it is a local I/O expansion module.

Snaps onto standard TH35-7.5 or TH35-15 DIN rail; also mountable on a plate using an optional fixing kit. Wired via a removable spring-cage terminal block, 11 positions, accepts up to 2.5 mm². Recommended cable is twisted shielded pairs, max 30 m for inputs and outputs. Rated IP20 for clean, dry cabinets. Operating altitude to 2000 m, pollution degree 2, ambient humidity 10–95% without condensation.
