Product details

The TM3XFHSC202: 200 kHz counting on this Modicon TM3 slice means it tracks encoder pulses or fast proximity switches without losing edges. Ten inputs configurable as sink or source, eight source outputs each rated 300 mA. Automatic reset simplifies recovery after a fault condition.

Draws 100 mA from the 5 V backplane and 50 mA from the 24 V external supply. IP20 with protective cover, rated for vibration 3.5 mm at 2–8.4 Hz and shock 15 gn for 11 ms.

Counting modes and event handling

Supports one-shot, modulo, and event counting, plus frequency and period measurement. Two main expert functions handle the high-speed channels; up to eight simple functions run concurrently. Event thresholds fire in under 10 µs, letting the PLC latch fast edge transitions without additional input conditioners.
