Overview
The TM5PCRS2 is a Schneider Modicon TM5 ASCII serial link communication module, order code TM5PCRS2, providing one isolated RS232 serial link via a male SUB-D 9 connector supporting Modbus ASCII at up to 115.2 kbit/s. Compatible with Modicon LMC058 and M258 motion and logic controllers.
The TM5PCRS2 provides an isolated RS232 serial link for ASCII devices, whereas the TM5NCO1 offers a CANopen interface with autodetected baud rates from 10 to 1000 kbit/s — choose the TM5PCRS2 when the application requires direct ASCII communication with barcode scanners, weigh scales, or printers.

Carries CE marking and is certified to CSA, cULus, C-tick, and GOST standards. Conducted immunity per EN/IEC 61000-4-6; surge withstand rated at 0.5 kV differential mode and 1 kV common mode per EN/IEC 61000-4-5. Rated for 15 gn 11 ms shock and Pollution Degree 2 per IEC 60664.
