Overview
The TM5PCRS4 is a Schneider Modicon TM5 ASCII serial link communication module, order code TM5PCRS4, providing one isolated RS232/RS485 serial interface with a female SUB-D 9 connector. The module operates at 115.2 kbit/s maximum, draws 0.4 W, and mounts on a DIN rail with an IP20 enclosure rating.
Applications
As a Modicon TM5 communication module, it connects Modicon M258 and LMC058 controllers to ASCII-based devices such as barcode scanners, printers, and weigh scales over RS232 or RS485.
The isolated serial link supports Modbus ASCII protocol at 115.2 kbit/s, enabling point-to-point or multi-drop connections to serial peripherals without additional converters. Rated for 15 gn 11 ms shock, the module withstands vibration in machine-mount applications.
