The TM5SAI4H is a 4-channel analog input module for the Modicon TM5 family, accepting 0-20 mA current or ±10 V voltage signals at 15-bit resolution. Typical current draw is 63 mA from the 24 V DC supply plus 2 mA from the 5 V backplane. Input impedance is ≥20 mΩ for current loops. Module sits on the TM5 bus with internal supply, no external loop power required.
The module occupies 12.5 mm on a DIN rail — three modules fit in a standard 50 mm slot. Height of 99 mm and depth of 75 mm keep it within typical enclosure dimensions. Horizontal installation allows 0-55 °C ambient without derating; vertical installation derates to 50 °C. Isolation between channels and bus is 500 Vrms AC. Power dissipation is 1.51 W — verify local supply capacity if populating a dense TM5 slice cluster. Green LED for power, red for fault, four green LEDs per input status.
