The TM5SBET1 is a Modicon TM5 remote transmitter module that extends the bus out to 2500 m, letting you place distributed I/O far from the controller. It draws 25 mA from the 24 V DC input and 100 mA from the 5 V DC bus, so it adds minimal load to the backplane. The white housing is just 0.5 in (12.5 mm) wide and carries an IP20/IP67 rating, meaning it can sit in a clean panel or in a junction box with sealed connectors.
