TM5SDO2TAFS is the safety output slice for a Modicon TM5 rack — two source outputs, 24 V DC at 2 A each, switching up to 500 Hz on resistive loads. SIL 3 per IEC 61508 and PL e per EN 13849-1 so this is for certified safety loops, not general-purpose I/O. MTTFd over 100 years and PFD below 1E-5 means it's built to satisfy the high-integrity channel requirements.
Slim slice: 25 mm wide, 75 mm deep, 99 mm tall — one slot on the TM5 backplane. IP20 so cabinet-only. Horizontal mounting gets the full -10 to 55 °C range; vertical knocks it to 50 °C.
