The Schneider TM5SE1IC20005 is a Modicon TM5 counter module carrying one incremental encoder channel. It accepts two 24 V DC sink discrete inputs and supplies 24 V to the encoder. Counting hits 4 MHz, with programmable input filtering up to 200 ms. Channel-to-bus isolation is 500 Vrms AC.
Panel fit
Width is 0.8 in (20 mm) — one standard TM5 slot. Depth 2.4 in (60 mm) keeps it inside the backplane envelope. IP20, so no special sealing needed inside a cabinet. Rated for vibration 1 gn and shock 15 gn; pollution degree 2. Power draw from the backplane: 2 mA at 5 V DC bus, plus 63 mA from the 24 V I/O supply. Dissipation is 1.51 W — stays cool without extra airflow in a typical TM5 rack.
