What it does in the panel
The TM5SPS10FS: This little red module is the power bus for a TM5 I/O rack — takes a 24 V DC supply and splits it out to the I/O slices down the line, rated a solid 10 A on that I/O power segment. The 25 mA it draws for its own brains won't crimp your power budget, and the 0.8 W dissipation means it stays cool even stuffed between a bunch of input cards.
Mounting and hookup
Clips onto a DIN rail — you'll need a 10 A external fuse on the incoming side, per the spec. The screw/spring terminal block takes the field wiring. Vibration rating at 1 gn on the rail and a 15 gn shock pulse (11 ms) mean it'll hold up in a cabinet next to contactors cycling all day. Operating range is -10 to 55 °C horizontal (60 °C with derating) or -10 to 50 °C vertical — plenty of headroom for a standard enclosure.
