The Schneider VW3A01501 is a 3-meter Modbus connecting cable terminated with RJ45 connectors at both ends, one of which carries an IP55-rated housing. It is designed for use with Altivar 31 and Altivar 212 variable speed drives, specifically to connect an enclosed drive that already uses a VW3A01500 cable.
The 3 m cable length is the physical span between the drive and the Modbus network node — enough for a panel-side connection but not for long-distance field runs. The IP55-rated RJ45 connector at one end means the connection point can tolerate dust and water jets, suitable for mounting on the drive enclosure where washdown or condensation is a concern. The other end is a standard RJ45 male connector for the control cabinet side.
