What this filter does for your drive line
The VW3A46110A is a passive harmonic filter sized for one Schneider ATV610 variable speed drive running a 45 kW (60 hp) motor. It knocks input current THDI down to 10%—that's the figure that keeps your plant from failing IEEE 519 or G5/4 harmonics surveys. You bolt one filter per drive; no sharing across multiple units. Rated for 380-480 V three-phase, 50 Hz supply. Output current is 99 A; input side sees 66.6 A. Efficiency runs 98%, so the 448 W of thermal loss goes into the cabinet air—plan your ventilation accordingly.
IP20 rated, so it lives inside an enclosure—not out in the weather or a washdown zone. The power terminals accept 16 to 50 mm² cable on /L2/L3 and '/L2'/L3'. The D1/D2/D3 and D1'/D2'/D3' terminals take 8 mm². The TS/TS' terminals for the thermal switch are 0.5 to 4 mm². Strip and torque per the Schneider instruction sheet. Store it in original packaging from -25 to 85 °C. If your panel runs hotter than 45 °C, you'll need to derate or move the filter to cooler air.
