Harmonic filter for Altivar drives
The Schneider Electric VW3A46131 is a passive filter designed to reduce current harmonics on Altivar variable-speed drives. It delivers a THDI of 5 % for drives including the ATV630 (55 kW/75 hp), ATV930 (55 kW/75 hp), ATV950 (55 kW/75 hp), ATV61H (75–90 kW/100–125 hp), ATV71H (75–90 kW/100–125 hp), ATV71W (75 kW/100 hp), ATV61W (75–90 kW/100–125 hp), and ATV71Q (90 kW/125 hp). That is the compliance threshold a site engineer needs for grid connection approval in most European and UK installations. Cos phi varies with load: 1 at 150 % line current, 0.99 at 100 %, and 0.85 at 75 %.
