Its job is to knock down current harmonics drawn by the drive to 5 % THDI when paired with ATV61HC13N4 (132 kW/200 hp motor), ATV61HC25N4 (250 kW/400 hp), ATV71HC13N4 (132 kW/200 hp), or ATV71HC25N4 (250 kW/400 hp). That 5 % THDI figure means the filter brings the drive's input current distortion well below IEEE 519-2014 recommended limits for most industrial service entrances — no need for a 12-pulse or active front end on these frame sizes. Rated for 217 A continuous at 480 V ±10 %, 60 Hz ±5 %, three-phase input. Efficiency hits 98 %, so only about 2 % of the pass-through power is lost as heat.
