The Schneider VW3A7269 is a line filter choke (LFC) designed as a component of the Active Front End (AFE) system for Altivar drives. It filters line-side harmonics and limits current distortion on three-phase networks rated 500...690 V +/-10 %, 50/60 Hz. Rated line current is 360 A at 50 °C, sized for a 430 kW drive system. The choke is a built-in unit with natural cooling (no fan), dissipating 1950 W of thermal losses. Mounting bars accept up to 2 x 150 mm² per phase (M10 bolts, 24 N·m torque) plus a PE bar for 95 mm².
Operates in ambient temperatures from -10 to 45 °C (derated to 60 °C with reduced current). Altitude derating applies above 1000 m: 1 % per 100 m up to 2400 m. Vibration resistance per IEC 60068-2-6: 1.5 mm at 3–10 Hz, 0.6 gn at 10–200 Hz. Shock resistance: 7 gn for 11 ms per IEC 60068-2-27.
