What this kit is and what it contains
The VW3A9547 is a pre-equipped IP54 floor-standing enclosure kit designed to create an IP54-rated enclosure for Altivar 61 and Altivar 71 variable speed drives, without a braking unit. The kit includes a 24 V DC, 600 mA supplementary power supply, identification labels, fixing accessories, document holder, upper air duct, EMC plate, seals, handle with push-button opening mechanism, plinth, drive support, air/air heat exchanger, roof extension, IP65 graphic display terminal remote mounting kit, and lower air duct. The enclosure is rated for ambient air temperatures of 0 to 45 °C outside the enclosure and 0 to 50 °C inside the enclosure, with cable entry via the enclosure bottom or from the left.
The kit includes a 24 V DC supplementary supply rated at 600 mA — this powers the drive's control electronics and any auxiliary loads inside the enclosure. The 21...27 V input tolerance means it accepts a standard 24 V industrial supply with typical ripple. The IP54 rating means the enclosure is dust-protected and splash-proof, suitable for indoor industrial environments where occasional water spray or dust ingress is a concern — not for washdown zones or outdoor exposure.
