The VW3A98BBPDCK is a main DC busbar kit for the Schneider Electric Altivar Process Modular drive platform, designed for a single-drive cabinet architecture with three power modules. It contains three DC busbars that distribute the DC link voltage between the modules, eliminating the need to run individual cables between each power stage. The kit dimensions are 300 mm wide by 300 mm deep by 90 mm tall.
Integration note
Mounts inside the drive cabinet on the busbar support brackets supplied with the Altivar Process Modular enclosure. The three bars are pre-drilled for the power module DC terminals; verify the torque spec on the terminal screws before energizing — the busbar material is tin-plated copper and draws the full DC link current, so a loose connection creates a hot spot that degrades over thermal cycling.
