The VW3A9906 is a ready assembled IP54 base plate from Schneider Electric, designed for the ATV61 and ATV71 drive families. Its sole purpose is to increase the number of cable connections available at the drive, a common need when adding options or routing multiple motor and control cables through a single enclosure entry.
Cable gland configuration
The plate provides a dedicated cable gland for the motor cable (metal ISO40), a special plastic ISO32 gland for the network cable, and multiple plastic glands for control cables or options: one ISO12, one ISO20, three ISO50, and four ISO16. This mix allows routing of different cable diameters while maintaining the IP54 seal.
