The VW3AP0301 is an IP54 conformity kit from Schneider Electric, purpose-built for the Altivar Process ATV600 and ATV900 drive families. It brings a standard drive enclosure up to IP54 protection — meaning the drive can sit in washdown areas or dusty plant-floor environments without a separate cabinet. The kit is specified for drive systems rated 110 to 160 kW.
What's in the box
The kit ships as a bundle: two upper air ducts, one lower air duct, and a 200 mm plinth. The ducts maintain the drive's cooling airflow path while the plinth raises the enclosure base to keep bottom-entry cables clear of floor wash. This is a mechanical retrofit kit — no wiring, no electronics.
