The VW3E1148R030 is a 3 m (9.8 ft) hybrid shielded motor cable from the PacDrive 3 range, used to connect a Lexium 62 ILM distribution box (D1) to another distribution box or to ILM integrated drives (D2). Both ends use elbowed connectors, which keeps the cable bend radius tight inside a cabinet or along a machine frame — useful when routing around servo drives or through cable carriers where a straight plug would hit the panel door.
The shielding on the motor cable is critical for keeping EMI from the drive PWM edges off the feedback and communication lines in the hybrid bundle. On a Lexium 62 ILM system, a non-shielded or poorly grounded cable can cause encoder noise or drive faults — this one is built for that duty.
