The VW3E1162R020 is a hybrid cable HCN-2 adapter from the PacDrive 3 range, purpose-built to connect a Lexium 62 ILM distribution box or ILM integrated drive to the motion network. The 2 m length and D2 elbowed connector keep the cable routed tight against the machine frame — no loop hanging into the chip tray.
Fit and routing
The D2 elbowed connector exits at a right angle, which saves roughly 40 mm of clearance behind the drive compared to a straight plug. On a multi-axis cabinet with drives ganged side-by-side, that difference keeps the cable bundle from fouling the adjacent unit's heat sink. The 2 m reach covers the typical span from the distribution box to the first drive in a daisy chain; longer runs need the next length variant.
