The Schneider Electric VW3L1V300 is a commissioning USB to SPI cable purpose-built for Lexium integrated drives, with a 3.6 m cable length that reaches from the drive to a laptop on the cabinet door or nearby cart — no extension needed for typical panel-side programming. One end terminates in a standard USB connector for the PC; the other carries a 10-pin connector that mates to the drive's commissioning port. Communication uses a pulse/direction interface, which is the native protocol for setting and programming drive parameters through the manufacturer's software.
For the commissioning engineer: plug the USB end into a laptop running the drive's configuration tool, connect the 10-pin end to the drive's programming port, and the software enumerates the drive over the SPI bridge. The 3.6 m length gives enough slack to work from a rolling cart without pulling the drive out of the cabinet.
