The VW3M94CAN45R20 is a 20 m CANopen cordset purpose-built for Schneider's Lexium 32i servo drive family. One end terminates in an M12 female connector (field-side), the other in a 5-way RJ45 male with A-coding (bus-side). That RJ45 plugs directly into the drive's CANopen IN port; the M12 mates to the fieldbus drop cable or a junction box. At 20 m it covers longer drive-to-node distances than the standard 5 m or 10 m options in the same series — useful when the drive cabinet sits remote from the motor or when routing around machine obstructions.
What the connectors tell you about fit
The RJ45 male is A-coded — standard Ethernet-style pinout used by CANopen over RJ45. The M12 female follows the standard CANopen M12 pin assignment (pin 2 = V+, pin 5 = shield). No special tooling needed beyond a standard RJ45 crimper and M12 torque wrench (0.6 N·m typical). The cable itself is a 20 m fixed length; field routing should account for the full run because the M12 end is overmolded and cannot be field-terminated shorter.
