The Schneider Electric TeSys WB1EA200 is a low-consumption contactor coil designed for the CV1B and CV3B contactor frames. It operates on a 200V AC control circuit at 60Hz, with an operational voltage tolerance of 0.85 to 1.1 Uc at up to 55°C. This is a replacement coil, not a complete contactor — you're swapping the electromagnetic actuator inside the existing CV1B or CV3B contactor housing. The coil's average resistance is 41.5 Ohm at 20°C, and the closed-circuit inductance is 2.6 H.
Power draw and thermal behaviour
During inrush the coil pulls 75 to 95W (225 to 275 VA at 60Hz, power factor 0.34). Once sealed, consumption drops to 10 to 13W (35 to 55 VA at 60Hz, power factor 0.37). That's a standard AC contactor coil profile — the hold-in power is roughly one-seventh of the inrush, so the control transformer only needs to be sized for the inrush peak.
