The WB1HA120 is a replacement coil in the TeSys range, designed for the CV1B and CV3B contactor frames. That means if your control transformer is feeding 127 V, this coil holds in reliably across typical line sags.
Power draw and inrush
Inrush power hits 170 to 200 W (and 560 to 675 VA at 60 Hz, 0.3 power factor) at 20 °C — the initial pull-in surge that the control transformer and wiring must handle without voltage drop. Once sealed, hold-in drops to 25 to 40 W (65 to 95 VA, 0.39 PF). The closed-circuit inductance is 0.53 H, and the average resistance is 5.35 Ω at 20 °C.
Obsolete — sourcing reality
Schneider has marked this coil obsolete. For MRO or line-down situations, we source WB1HA120 through independent surplus channels — quantities are lot-specific and confirmed at RFQ. If you need a drop-in for a CV1B or CV3B contactor, this is the exact coil; there is no factory alternative to swap to without changing the contactor.
