The Square D XCKJ105 is a heavy duty, non-plug-in limit switch from the Osiswitch line, built for position sensing in wet, dusty, or washdown environments. It carries a NEMA 1/2/4/12 and IP66 enclosure rating, so it stands up to hose-down cleaning and outdoor exposure without an extra cover — that's the rating that decides fit for food, beverage, or cement plant lines where water and dust are constant. Contact rating is 240 VAC 10 A and 250 VDC 0.27 A, SPDT configuration, with spring-return snap action. The DC rating is the one to watch: at 0.27 A it's fine for pilot-duty and PLC inputs, but not for switching a DC solenoid directly at full load. The AC rating handles most control-circuit and interposing relay loads. Connection is through a PG13.5 cable gland with screw-clamp terminals inside — no plug-in base, so wiring is direct to the switch body. Body is ZAMAK zinc alloy, rotary head with 23° pretravel and 90° total travel, operating force 33.3 oz-in. Operating temperature range -13 to 158 °F.
For a storeroom keeper: this is a standard heavy-duty limit switch with a rotary head — it's not an oddball form factor. The PG13.5 entry is common across European-spec panels; if your site runs NPT conduit, you'll need an adapter. The SPDT contact gives you one N.O. and one N.C. set, which covers most interlock and position-feedback circuits without extra aux blocks.
