The Square D XCKM106H7 is a limit switch from the XCKM series, built with a cat whisker actuator that triggers from any direction — omnidirectional, with 300° total travel. That makes it the right choice for detecting parts on a conveyor or a moving web where the approach angle isn't fixed. The actuator arm is 5.61 inches long, so it reaches into the path without the switch body itself protruding into the hazard zone. Rated IP66, meaning the housing keeps out dust and high-pressure water jets — fine for washdown areas on a packaging line or a food processing station. DC rating is 0.27 A at 250 V, which is typical for low-energy DC control circuits; don't try to switch a DC motor brake directly with this contact set.
