The XCKM110 is a general-duty compact limit switch from the Square D Osiswitch XCKM family. Its 1NO-1NC contact block is rated 3 A at 240 VAC and 0.27 A at 250 VDC — those are the maximum continuous currents the switch can make and break under those voltages. For AC motor or solenoid loads, the inductive switching capability is lower; the 3 A resistive rating means a 0.75 A inductive load at 240 VAC is a safer design target unless derating curves are consulted. The 250 VDC rating at 0.27 A is the DC current limit; DC arcs are harder to extinguish, so stay under that figure for any DC control circuit.
Deployment context
The PG11 cable gland entry and screw-clamp terminals are sized for standard 6–12 mm control cable. Operating temperature range of -13 to 158 °F (-25 to 70 °C) covers most factory-floor conditions.
It also complies with EN/IEC 60204-1 (safety of machinery) and EN/IEC 60947-5-1 (low-voltage switchgear — control circuit devices).
