Compact form, plastic body, 1/2 inch NPT entry
The Schneider Electric Osiswitch XCKP2102N12 is a compact-body limit switch built around a plastic housing with a 1/2 inch NPT conduit entry and screw-clamp terminals — small enough to drop onto a guard door or a conveyor idler without a metal-bodied footprint, but with the same snap-action contact block carried by the larger XCKP/XCKT family. It ships as a single-pole, snap-action device with 1NO-1NC contact configuration rated 240 VAC at 10 A and 250 VDC at 0.27 A — the standard Osiswitch block that drops into machine-tool and packaging-line wiring without a special relay interface.
Sealed for washdown and outdoor cabinet doors
The enclosure is rated NEMA 1, 2, 4, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 alongside IP66 and IP67, which means the body and the cable entry survive hosed-down food-and-bev lines as well as outdoor cabinet doors where driving rain and dust are routine. Operating temperature runs from -13 to 158 degrees F — adequate for unheated warehouse cells in winter and most process-area panels in summer, though it is not a freezer-rated or furnace-rated device.
Standards and approvals on record
The switch carries UL and CSA approvals and is designed to EN/IEC 60204-1 and EN/IEC 60947-5-1 — the latter being the product standard that defines limit-switch ratings, contact reliability, and the test methods a machine builder's declaration of conformity expects to see cited.
