The Square D XCKP2106M12 is a limit switch from the XCKP series, built for positions where you need a light-touch presence detector that handles washdown and dust alike. The cat whisker actuator is omnidirectional — it triggers from any angle, which matters on a conveyor or transfer where the part might come at it sideways. Rated IP66 and IP67, so it survives direct spray and temporary submersion; the plastic body and sealed construction keep it going on a wet or gritty line. Contacts are 1NO/1NC rated 3 A at 240 V AC or DC, enough for signaling a PLC input or dropping out a small relay. The 4-pin M12 connector makes swap-out fast — no need to re-terminate hardwired pigtails when this switch takes a hit on a panel door or a machine guard.
