The Square D XCKP2106N12 is a compact limit switch from the Osiswitch family, built for general-duty position sensing where the signal has to be clean and the enclosure has to survive washdown. The contact rating splits hard: 10 A at 240 VAC handles most control-circuit loads, but the DC side drops to 0.27 A at 250 VDC — that's the arc-quenching limit of the snap-action mechanism. If you're switching a DC solenoid or a brake coil at line voltage, verify the inrush doesn't exceed that DC rating; otherwise the contacts may weld closed. The enclosure carries NEMA 1/2/4/6/6P/12/13 and IP66/IP67 ratings. The plastic body resists corrosion.
