Operating force on the lever is 4.43 lbf (≈20 N), which sits in the band that a small pneumatic-cylinder roller or a cam-actuated bracket can drive directly without an amplification lever, but is heavy enough to reject nuisance trips from conveyor vibration. Operation is spring-return — the contacts revert to their normal state when the cam clears the roller, so the switch only signals while the actuator is being held over by the moving part.
