The Telemecanique XS108BLPAM8 is an M8 threaded cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from the XS1 series. It is shielded, with a PNP normally open output and a rated sensing distance of 2 mm. Supply voltage is 12-24 VDC; the maximum load current is 200 mA. The housing is nickel-plated brass, rated IP67 and NEMA 4X, with an M8 direct connector and three wires.
The M8 threaded barrel mounts via a standard 8 mm hole; the shielded sensing face allows flush mounting in metal without derating the 2 mm sensing distance. The M8 connector mates with a standard 3-pin M8 cordset; verify pin assignment for PNP NO wiring before energizing.
