What the ratings mean for your panel
The XS112B3PCL2: PNP output (/) at 200 mA sinks into a PLC input or relay coil directly— no pull-up resistor needed. The 4-wire cable gives you separate NO and NC signals, or you can wire it as complementary outputs; the indicator light shows power and switching state, which helps during commissioning without a handheld tool.
Where it fits (and does not) versus other Telemecanique sensors
The XS1 series is built around a cylindrical 12 mm threaded barrel. The rectangular peers in evidence—XSDA600519H7 and XSDH603629—use plastic bodies and different mounting holes; they will not drop into an M12 hole without a bracket adapter. Their sensing ranges (60 mm and 6-60 mm respectively) are far longer than this 4 mm sensor, so they are not functional equivalents for short-range flush-mount applications. Another cylindrical variant is the XS9E11RPBL01M12, but it uses a remote M12 connector and has 10 mm unshielded sensing. It could replace the XS112B3PCL2 in function only if you have the mating connector and need the longer range; the mounting footprint differs (rectangular block vs. threaded barrel), so a bracket may be required.
