What it is and what it does
The XS1N12PA349D: Shielded 12 mm tubular inductive proximity sensor with a PNP normally open output, rated for flush mounting. Covers 4 mm sensing distance at 2500 Hz switching frequency, carries 200 mA continuous from a 12-24 VDC supply. M12 male connector mates directly to a standard micro quick-disconnect cable, no field wiring required. Nickel plated brass body, PPS sensing face, rated IP67 and NEMA 3/4X/6P/12/13. Approvals: UL, CSA, CE.
Mounting and installation
Shielded construction permits flush mounting in metal without derating the sensing distance. Barrel diameter is 12 mm; the M12 connector exits the rear. Use a standard 3-pin female M12 cordset (A-coding) for the PNP NO signal. Operating range -13 to 122°F covers typical enclosure temperatures.
