What It Does and Where It Fits
The XS1N18PA349D is a shielded inductive proximity sensor from the XS1 series, built with a nickel-plated brass barrel and an M12 quick-disconnect connector. It detects ferrous metal targets at a maximum 10 mm distance, switching a PNP normally open load up to 200 mA on 12–24 VDC. The IP67 and IP69K enclosure ratings make it suitable for washdown zones in food, beverage, and packaging lines where high-pressure, high-temperature cleaning is routine. The LED indicator confirms target presence at a glance.
Wiring and Mounting Notes
Three wires: brown to +24 VDC, blue to common, black to the PNP normally open output. The M12 connector mates with standard female cordsets (A-coded).
